Copyright Protection

All original content on BootstrapperToolbox — including articles, calculators, tools, guides, images, and software code — is protected by United States and international copyright laws. We respond promptly to valid DMCA notices.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe your copyrighted work has been used on our website in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, provide our DMCA Agent with a written notice containing:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work — A detailed description of the work you claim has been infringed, including title, author, and registration information if applicable

  • Signature — Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full legal name is acceptable)

What Happens After We Receive Your Notice

Upon receiving a valid DMCA takedown notice, we will promptly investigate the claim, remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material if the claim appears valid, and notify the user who posted the content that we have taken action. We typically respond to valid DMCA notices within 2 to 5 business days.

Important

Submitting a false or fraudulent DMCA notice may result in legal liability under Section 512(f) of the DMCA.

Filing a DMCA Counter-Notice

If you believe content you posted was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notice with our DMCA Agent containing:

  • Your contact information — Full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
  • Identification of removed material — Description of the material removed and where it appeared before removal
  • Good faith statement — A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
  • Consent to jurisdiction — A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for your judicial district
  • Signature — Your physical or electronic signature

Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. If they do not file a court action within 10 to 14 business days, we may restore the removed material.

Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA, BootstrapperToolbox has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also limit access to our website and terminate accounts of any users who infringe intellectual property rights of others.

The calculators, tools, articles, and other original content created by BootstrapperToolbox are protected by copyright.
